About
Mist° began with a simple observation: most tea on shelves has travelled too far and waited too long. We wanted something closer to the source — a single garden, a single harvest, and a short line between the hill and the cup.
Our first tea comes from Tân Cương, a district in Thái Nguyên province, northern Vietnam. It is the birthplace of Vietnamese green tea and, to our taste, one of the quietest and most articulate expressions of the leaf anywhere in the world.
We work directly with a small family garden there. Leaves are plucked by hand in the early morning, pan-fired the same day, and shipped to us within weeks of harvest. We don't blend, we don't flavour, and we don't rush.
